QUALITIES OF SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGES

Characteristics OF SUCCESSFUL MARRIAGES Correspondence Good correspondence is significant in any marriage with the goal for it to succeed. Great correspondence assists with maintaining a strategic distance from all types of lack of respect between the gatherings. Such types of disregard have been alluded to as discourteous judgments.Advertising We will compose a custom paper test on Qualities of effective relationships explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More They incorporate disparaging, mockery, offering expressions in a critical way or making dishonest allegations. At the end of the day, legitimate correspondence is subjective (Hampson, Prince, Beavers, 2007). Great correspondence may likewise be quantitative in that, having significant discussions with your couple a few times in a day or week implies that the marriage would be more effective than those not having enough exchange as couples. Great exchange may likewise happen as couples take part in different exercises. For instance, couples may participat e in significant exchange while they help each other in doing the house errands, while going for a walk or driving around. I have by and by observed how my folks keep up discussions wherever they are. This has improved their relationship and has decidedly affected me as well. I intend to copy them and make correspondence an indispensable device in my connections. Compassion and affectability For couples to have effective relationships, they should have the option to relate to the contemplations and emotions or even the perspectives of their accomplice. This would imply that they would have emotional affectability towards one another. At the point when one understands the other, one would have the option to place oneself in another’s shoes and in this manner be in a situation to enthusiastically react to the partner’s needs. Affectability is additionally an extraordinary righteousness in marriage since it enables an individual to comprehend the requirements of the partn er.Advertising Looking for paper on sociologies? The manner in which the couples see each other’s issues and help themselves out has caused me to become familiar with a ton and need to change a portion of my past perspectives and observations. Otherworldliness and qualities Spirituality and qualities are fundamental for any marriage in the event that it is to succeed. Relationships based on firm profound qualities develop exponentially and the couples experience enduring bliss. Confidence makes incredible contrasts in marriage and this is the reason it is imperative to impart your individual convictions and qualities to the accomplice preceding marriage so as to see one another and plan how you two will live with them. At the point when accomplice s in marriage have distinctive otherworldly qualities, it is practically sure that sooner or later in marriage, they will experience difficulty adapting to one another. It is significant for couples to have a similar confidence and have similar qualities. I as of late discovered that a Christian companion of mine wedded an Indian lady. It has recently been a couple of months now and they are petitioning for a separation. This was for the most part a direct result of their disparities when it came to qualities and otherworldliness. This has urged me to consider otherworldliness and estimations of the other accomplice before I can choose to settle. Responsibility Commitment is typically a high need in relationships and particularly in the Christian culture. Numerous couples have the misguided judgment that marriage pledges lead consequently to a cheerful marriage and an ideal association of intimacy.Advertising We will compose a custom article test on Qualities of fruitful relationshi ps explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More What they neglect to comprehend is that after marriage, numerous difficulties come and it isn't generally blushing. This requires the requirement for duty. Damaging the marriage pledges as a rule lead to results. By and large, when one accomplice abuses that dedication in marriage, it is considered as unpardonable. This is on the grounds that pledges are engaged with marriage instead of connections where such exercises that abuse duty might be excused. I have consistently valued the measure of duty appeared by my folks and this is apparent in their numerous long periods of marriage. In this way, I expect to focus on responsibility in marriage since this is the thing that couples are planned to do in the wake of making pledges. Friendship Companionship is imperative in any marriage that tries to make it a triumph. It includes the accomplices sharing their coexistences on an everyday premise. Couples need to share their fantasi es and simultaneously stroll along one another to understand those fantasies. As partners, couples need to progress in the direction of shared objectives. They ought to along these lines share comparable interests and if their destinations are accomplished, they should share the delight of triumph. Be that as it may, the misery of disappointment ought to likewise be shared and the couples should see themselves through the troublesome minutes. Now and then in the life of couples, changes happen and because of unavoidable conditions, they are compelled to take part in various exercises that have diverse timings.Advertising Searching for paper on sociologies? The most ideal approach to battle this is by keeping up the affection relationship on an everyday premise. This is conceivable through the upkeep of correspondence. In the event that up close and personal correspondence is hard to keep up, at that point making calls may do. I have taken in a great deal in the manner in which my folks have figured out how to keep up their affection relationship in any event, when they are a long way from one another and I unquestionably mean to copy this. Versatility and Adaptability and adaptability is another angle that is significant in marriage. Couples need to consider one another and not just stress over oneself. These characteristics empower an accomplice in the relationship to change a portion of the exercises that one expected to do so as to put the contemplations of the other at th e top of the priority list. This would require the accomplice to search for options yet at the same time center around accomplishing a similar set objectives. I have seen my dad swear off a portion of his exercises so as to cook for my mother’s needs first at that point return to what he was doing. Along these lines, I have discovered that in a relationship, an accomplice ought not think about his own needs first yet in addition consider those of the other accomplice. I mean to make significant contemplations about my partner’s thoughts when settling on choices later on. Genuineness, trust and loyalty Honesty and devotion must be seen seeing someone all together for the union with be fruitful. At the point when genuineness and devotion is watched, this prompts trust. In marriage, much the same as in some other relationship, trust is earned (Stinnett, Carter, Montgomery, 1972). Marriage accomplices should be devoted to one another since they pledged to do as such. My fo lks are my good examples since they have constructed their marriage on trust and trustworthiness. It is through trust that they have had the option to keep up their affection relationship throughout the years. I plan to keep up constancy and stay legit to my accomplice in marriage. Obligation One major issue in marriage life is the issue of duty. This oversees the everyday existence of the couple. Each accomplice has explicit obligations to take care of outside the family unit yet those inside the family are typically appointed. Once in a while it is done similarly however in many events, one accomplice for the most part plays a more prominent job. Designation of duties ought to be done in a reasonable way all together not to overburden one accomplice. At home, I figure my mom does the vast majority of the family unit exercises. I comprehend that my dad is generally occupied with the workplace work yet I figure it would be reasonable on the off chance that they shared a portion of t he family unit duties. I expect to change this later on by assisting in the majority of the work in the house. Unselfishness Couples ought to dodge childishness in marriage. This requires each accomplice to overlook self and direct all the life of the couple to benefit the entire family. Self-centeredness respects the refusal of the different partner’s rights in the marriage and by and large prompts undesirable relationships or even separation. My folks are genuine instances of couples who are not egotistical. Both my folks as a rule share a great deal and don't help things out one accomplice over the other. I expect to take from them on this issue. Adoration and regard Good relationships are filled by extraordinary science. This calls for common appreciation and regard. The worth that one spots on the partner’s extraordinary capacities causes the accomplice to feel acknowledged and adored. Without this, one would not have certainty upon the assessments they present. A t the point when one accomplice regards the other’s assessment, at that point correspondence will be created (Murstein Beck, 1972). Indicating profound respect for your life partner is imperative to help their confidence and cause them to feel increased in value. I appreciate my parent’s for the manner in which they show esteem for one another and regard one another. I might want to grow such a relationship later on. 5 Ways to Apply Project Management Methods in Your School - Focus

5 Ways to Apply Project Management Methods in Your School - Focus I have experienced the frustrations and challenges that leaders in schools face from both sides of the fence. As a teacher and leader myself I had to constantly shift and adjust to changing goal posts, work around shrinking deadlines and time limits, and still try to remain calm and collected. As a consultant at LearnMaker I work with a wide range of leadership teams to apply theories behind effective project management in school. In this article I will offer ideas, practical steps, and personal experience spanning over ten years in education, and over three years working with multinational companies, to share with you what weve found to work well. So to begin, one of the fundamental systems that every school must develop is the ability to manage projects. With  a simple management process, schools can overcome problems with organisation, communication and tracking. In this post I’ll provide 5 steps on how to adapt and apply these processes in your school. 1.Keep everyone in the loop Ever been to a meeting that lasted for over two hours or where the previous items were never followed through? My teaching career was crammed with meetings like these, in fact most meetings I attended were rarely less than an hour, and often ended in a discussion about something completely irrelevant to the task at hand. Often meeting agendas were sent through on the day, rooms changed last minute, important attendees were absent and items were changed during the meeting. Not very productive. The key is to have one system in which everyone is kept in the loop. You may need to have private conversations with individuals within your team but, a central and simple system is imperative, for this we use MeisterTask. One of the difficulties when managing a project is making sure everyone is notified. I’ve had this problem on many occasions. You send out an email to all relevant  team members but accidentally leave someone off the list, so need to send it out again. These actions take time, cause stress, and slow down the project. Similarly, in most schools Ive taught in, theres a preferred device to use, so if you turn up with a mobile phone that isn’t supported you often have to cobble together a solution of workarounds. Having a system which works across platforms, and is truly mobile is fantastic. It means your team members can have notifications as they like. Perhaps a pop-up on their phones or an email breakdown of the day’s events. Staff members can work how they like, while guided by the system and free to interact how they see fit, as they don’t need to be at their class desktop. Using MeisterTask, team members on the right-hand column have one single place to chat, share resources, and work collaboratively. The simple commenting system, coupled with notifications, means teams have one point of contact for any project. 2. Liven up your planning documents As a teacher, the process of working on planning documents would always frustrate me. We would hold planning meetings using various versions of the same school improvement document annotated by hand, reprinted, online versions, sketches and notes. We would spend hours trying to consolidate the different versions as they were never up-to-date. Having a central place to store, share and work collaboratively on resources means your team can work on live documents, monitor version changes, and communicate and annotate on team documents. Once every so often our IT school improvement plan  would be wheeled out (sometimes literally, when printed they were huge folders) and the senior team and teaching staff would run through it, perhaps updating, mostly discussing what went wrong or not. Inevitably these meetings would last forever and nothing substantial would get done. The problem always came down to communication. People were left out of the loop, tasks were left undone, or people had conversations that weren’t recorded.  Often deadlines were missed. Having a project management system which included all of the relevant details a breakdown of tasks, staff members responsible, projected cost, deadline, and benefits if the tasks were completed would have solved virtually all of the issues I witnessed. 3. Talk in one place Many schools have several methods which allow staff to communicate well often though, many leaders find communication is one of the key challenges they struggle to solve. In my experience, the difficulty in communication comes down to a maths problem.  In a typical school, you would expect teachers and leaders to use the following ‘basic’ communication routes: Face to face conversation Email Telephone Paper message If you think of these as multipliers, one conversation could have many multiple routes to confusion. For example, I have a face to face conversation with you in the corridor about a meeting next week. I say I will email you the details. Back at my office I send you an email and type an agenda to place in your pigeon hole. You read the agenda, and phone me for a slight alteration. I email back the adjustment, then print a copy for all the staff. You can see how this could get tricky with multiple staff, each having multiple ways of communicating it becomes a spider’s web of communication lines. The odds of something going wrong or being left out increasing dramatically with each multiplier. Now if you layer onto that the movement and alteration of documents, the communications system becomes far more complicated. In addition,  staff often use different devices some have mobile phones, others tablets, some use good old desktop PC. One version of the file won’t open correctly on a particular device so we have to convert the file to make it work. A nightmare is created. This, I can guarantee, has or will happen at some point in your school. Being able to manage communication and file sharing through one project management system means your staff will only have one place to go to find what they need. Attachments can be viewed at the click of a button and don’t have to be searched for in a folder structure that requires a Doctorate to understand. You can quickly search through the whole of MeisterTask in one click. 4. Keeping track The key to a successfully managed team, and to avoid your own burn out, is to ensure team members are; accountable, responsible, and driven. I have found that initially when we talk about these things, accountability is often misconceived as ‘passing the buck’, with  responsibility seen as forced delegation. Staff gather evidence to cover their back, rather than focusing on the positives of the challenge. Ive found that by having a system where staff can see everything thats going on, with the number of private conversations and projects minimised, this issue quickly fades.  A way to achieve this is by having a system which encourages the ‘informal’, allowing users to add profile photos so that everyone can see who has been delegated each task. A massive benefit to allocating tasks on MeisterTask is the ability to hand over work when team members leave or join the project. There are many occasions where teachers do this, particularly new or training teachers who need to be orientated.  A project management system like MeisterTask, allows new team members to be delegated tasks quickly and simply, as well as see what their colleagues are up to within the project overview. 5. Money constraints Two things that always ring true in life: there is never enough money, and there is never enough time. Being able to save or reduce either of these is the golden ticket to great project management. When I look at the volume of emails school leaders have to tolerate, I go mad. If we just focus on emails relating to project management the emails notifying changes, asking for ideas or for approval â€" the emails still take time to process. Not long for each one, granted, but the sum total of the minutes are significant. By simply moving this type of email into a project management system, you will be surprised by how much time is freed up. In one primary school we managed to save over 4 hours a week by simply changing attitudes to email use in school. One 30-minute session on using email led to 4 hours saved per team member, which for a team of 7 meant 28 hours a week or about 1000 staff hours a year. Big numbers, by just working a few little things out. I first started using the free version of MeisterTask when LearnMaker was launched. When Jay and I started the company a few years ago, we had very little money, we joke we were living on beans, and it wasn’t that far off! We made the decision early on that we would need to be device agnostic, as our consultancy would focus on ideas and attitudes, not brands or devices. As such we wanted to shift as much of the ‘work’ our IT systems would use, into the cloud. In theory this is a great idea. Although, most cloud solutions cost, MeisterTask was the only free system I could find which integrated for free into Google Drive. For me this was key. We used Google Drive as a cheap alternative to expensive servers at the company offices, reducing costs massively. Subsequently, moving to the cloud is something we suggest to every school we work with. I have successfully managed 5 school projects using the free versions of MeisterTask, all concurrently. If you have the money, the Pro level is fantastic but you can even benefit instantly from using the free version. Key Takeaways So those are my steps for applying project management ideas in your school. If you have comments or more tips to add, please share below and with my leader hat on, here are the key take aways to consolidate the learning: Applying project management in school could be anything from lesson and curriculum planning, to working on a new campus or building Use a system which allows staff and leaders to communicate quickly and simply across multiple platforms and devices Make use of a project management system which tracks time, tasks and discussions this will allow you to save time and reduce the stress of project management Money constraints shouldn’t limit you when wanting to use a project management system. LearnMaker have used free versions of MeisterTask to manage large and complex projects in the past. Project management made simple. Get started with MeisterTask Its free! Sir Isaac Newton - Mathematician and English Physicist - Free Essay Example

Sir Isaac Newton was a well-known mathematician and English physicist. He made discoveries in the areas of optics, physics, and mathematics. These discoveries led to modern physical optics, modern physics, and calculus. Newtons book, Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathmatica, was a very important work in the history of modern science (Westfall). Newton was born on December 25 of 1642 in Woolsthorpe, England and died on March 20 of 1727 in London England. Two months after Newton was born, his father died. When Newton was three years old his mother left him with his grandmother because she moved away once she remarried. He received his bachelors degree in 1665 at Trinity College in Cambridge, Egland. He was not able to stay and get his masters degree because the school shut down because of an outbreak of the plague, making him have to stay in Woolsthorpe for eighteen months. During this time is when Newton performed his experiments and had the ideas for his work on gravitation, optics, and calculus. Newton was able to return to Cambridge in 1667 to complete the requirements for his masters degree (Isaac Newton Biography). Newtons main focus in the field of optics was to unravel the nature of light and its properties. He studied the defraction and refraction of light with prisms and lenses. With one demonstration, a prism with a beam of light into wavelengths of multiple shades, he discovered that white light is composed of component color wavelengths. This same effect leads to the formation of rainbows. Newtons experiments showed that color came from reflection, transmission of light, and selective absorption of light by materials. He discovered that the overlapping of certain color components creates most colors. He invented a new kind of telescope called the reflecting telescope and also wrote a book on optics called Opticks (Discoveries and Inventions)

Plan Your Day on Paper

There is a general opinion which is expressed once in a while that digital devices will kill the handwriting. All studying can be done on some kind of portable computer these days, namely a tab or a smartphone. You can search for information, take notes, write, and plan on your gadget. Besides, there is an app for everything. However, something about the very aesthetics of paper notepads and organizers speaks of the different — the paper items will live long, as they provide not just visual, but also tangible experience of scheduling and planning. So, use paper planners to organize your day. You might disagree that there are lots of specific apps which you can use to do your planning super-fast and effectively. For example, you can find a colorful calendar app and a nicely-looking notepad, in case you are not satisfied with the native ones. You can even make complex notes by including different types of media (text, drawings, links, and other). However, if you imagine a good paper notebook, you will see that it can be far better than your bunch of apps. First of all, the information you store is physically accessible to you —Â  it does not go anywhere for no apparent reason. At the same time, digital data may be not available simply because you changed the device or because it was just lost as a result of some malware or attack. You can have a universal notebook and take all your college notes with you and access them at need regardless of the quality of your Internet connection. Secondly, you can visualize your information even better than using digital tools on a device. You can buy some colored tape or stickers and assign them to specific plans, subjects, or types of activities that you will be listing in the notepad. You can use colors to prioritize tasks — just put a fire-red sticker next to the most important task in the list, and you will see it as soon as you open your paper organizer. Similarly, you can cover the issues that have been changed with strips of grey tape, for example. Thirdly, when you write something down on paper, you make it more tangible. This is why it is better to use notepads for planning, as you know that you didn’t just type something in for the sake of the record, but with a serious intention on your mind. Also, you can cross out items, rumple the pages, or tear them off entirely. You cannot do that digitally. And how about drawing on the margins while taking notes in a class? Of course, this is all optional, and some may find paper organizers not really fitting for their planning activities. Planning your schedule and activities on paper requires some dedication. However, once you’ve found yourself a perfect notepad, you can experiment with the content and its style as much as you like: use colors, write, rewrite, and overwrite, draw, highlight everything you want with stickers. Just be sure to not get lost in all the creative activity — as it turns out, planning can be creative too.

Character Analysis of Dracula - 537 Words

In the novels world, Dracula has many mystical powers, some which has been shown only on several occasions and some which he uses for his daily life. Dracula also has a very unique personality, which could tempt women and make them vulnerable. This means, Dracula could dominate every human being individually, not as a group. His powers and personality has something in common. Count Dracula uses his powers and unique abilities as a tool to ridicule religions and Gods decisions and as a great threat to the mainstream society. Count Dracula has the ability to seduce women, making them even more vulnerable by making them become openly sexual, and often make them fall in love with him and join his side. Although his ability can be powerful, it can also become a weakness at some point because he possibly doesnt have full control of his emotions. His motivation is to make his victims join his side either as a vampire by drinking the blood or as a human by seduction and turn against the victims friends and family, causing troubles for his opposition, which makes his seduction power a threat to the society, in this case, the friends and relatives. The combination of this ability and his other abilities, to make himself younger and possibly hypnotism as it was impossible to resist the Counts seduction, is considered as one of the biggest threats.
